New Guidelines for IDS Icons

Design | September 2025

Detailed and extensive guidelines for the 3 main sets of IDS icons are now available in the Components section:

• System icons, representing controls or specific actions.
• Decorative icons, colorized versions of the system icons.
• Empty state icons, for when there’s no specific content to display.​​​​

Also included in the library are new universal use case definitions for 100+ select icons, based on research of use across major ERPs. We encourage you to refer to these definitions to help improve usability, streamline navigation, and drive consistency across the CloudSuites.
