Infor OS Portal ¼ Widgets and KPI Ribbon Bar

The 2025.04 Feature Release includes an especially impactful UX enhancement for all OS Portal users who design and manage dashboards: ¼ widgets, a smaller and more flexible size, will be available to development teams in the Widget SDK.

The ¼ widgets display KPIs and data-driven insights. They can be used only in the KPI ribbon bar, which is also new in this release. It’s half of the height of a standard widget and anchored to the top of the page. Workspace functionality otherwise remains the same.

Allowing the placement of these smaller widgets helps address feedback from customers about simplifying dashboard clutter. The KPI ribbon bar also improves data visibility and efficiency, reducing the need for users to navigate across multiple screens. Together, they enhance the efficiency of a Workspace layout, give a more streamlined view of information, and provide quick access to critical insights.
