Upcoming IDS Releases
As part of our ongoing work to align our release calendar with the broader Infor biannual cycle, the upcoming IDS releases will be the beta builds for the October release. Specifically, this will be Web Components version 1.15.0-beta.0 and Enterprise version 4.109.0-beta.0. These builds will be patched through the October release, so we strongly recommend that all IDS-adopting teams work to update their applications to these versions.
As always, if any issues are encountered with these updates, reach out via the IDS Microsoft Team or file a ticket in our Jira project.
GUIDELINES
New Page Layouts
Now available is a new library of page layouts that are commonly used throughout the CloudSuites. We encourage product teams to refer to these high-level examples as a reference for establishing visual hierarchies and designing easy-to-follow pages.
- Dashboard: A single, consolidated view of the user’s priorities, with key metrics and frequent actions
- Data grid view: A display of large data sets in a tabular format, allowing the user to view, sort, filter, and edit records
- List and details: When the user clicks an item on a list, additional details about the item appear on the same page
- Profile record: Provides the user with details about any type of entity—such as products, customers, employees, or suppliers
Each page layout illustrates how IDS components can potentially work together to ensure that user workflows are clear and organized. Also included are examples of real screens from major ERPs (for reference only and may not reflect the page layout).
