2025.04 FEATURE RELEASE
Infor OS Portal: ¼ Widgets and KPI Ribbon Bar
The 2025.04 Feature Release includes an especially impactful UX enhancement for all OS Portal users who design and manage dashboards: ¼ widgets, a smaller and more flexible size, will be available to development teams in the Widget SDK. Component Guidelines, Design Tokens, Word List, and Get Started
Components: 71 components now have updated guidance on the “Guidelines” tab, including common user interactions, usability best practices, and UX writing standards. See what’s available on the overview page—more updates are to come!
Design tokens: New instructions for how to apply semantic tokens in Figma, with examples of dos and don’ts.
Word list: This new UX writing resource includes general usage guidance and recommendations for commonly used words, terminology, and abbreviations.
Get started for designers and developers: Updated with the latest information for using the design system, including the Figma design libraries, adoption options for IDS, and code repositories.

We’re excited to announce the launch of our IDS overview course! Now available to all Inforians on Infor U Campus, learn how IDS can help you efficiently build cohesive user experiences. The 30-minute module provides information about how to get started using the design system, plus an overview of the comprehensive suite of foundations, components, and guidelines.
Whether you’re new to IDS or just need a refresher, by the end of the course, we hope that you’ll better understand the design system, the value it provides, and how to access resources that can help all of us enhance UX across the enterprise.
