Components
We’re publishing updated guidelines for components, starting with the 20 atomic components that are the building blocks of our UI. Each component includes:
- When to use it: The common types of tasks or interactions that it helps users achieve
- When to use something else: Alternatives to consider
- Usability guidance: Best practices, with considerations to help you design and implement it in a way that creates an intuitive, accessible, and effective experience
- UX writing: Standards for capitalization, punctuation, and grammar
- Accessibility: Guidance that helps ensure it remains accessible throughout design and implementation

GUIDELINES
Accessing IDS Resources
As the design system has moved away from its open-source origins, permissions for accessing IDS resources for Inforians, Infor partners, and Infor customers have changed:
- Currently, access to design.infor.com is limited to Infor employees only.
- Partners may request guest access to the website via the Infor IT Helpdesk, but they will not be able to access our Figma or Oxford/GitLab resources.
- Customers who request access are encouraged to utilize the resources within their specific CloudSuite solution.
DESIGN
GenAI UI/UX Enhancements
We’ve been collaborating with the GenAI team to help ensure that the experience within Infor solutions feels part of the holistic Infor identity. The latest design evolution, based on cross-team feedback, includes an updated color palette—using Infor’s purple brand color—as well as a net-new secondary button and embedded system icons that feature the globally iconic GenAI sparkle. These enhancements will better support users in generating the data and information they need from the AI tools that Infor provides.
GUIDELINES
Workspaces
The UX guidelines for Workspaces have been updated to include clear definitions for three categories of role-based Workspaces (RBWS): Standard RBWS, C-Level RBWS, and Value+ Advanced RBWS. As announced last month, this comprehensive guidance about Workspaces was previously published on SharePoint and is now only available on the Infor OS Platform Experience Wiki. (An Infor SAAM request is required for Wiki access.)

UX Enhancement Libraries
Archives of educational content and visual assets about major UX enhancements included in recent Infor Feature Releases have been updated and moved to the Infor Design Wiki. (An Infor SAAM request is required for Wiki access.) They include:
